SQL Credit Card Fraud
Cybercrime is showing no signs of slowing down. With trillions of credit card transactions every single day, detection of fraud is incredibly challenging. I wanted to look at some hard facts to try to get into the mind of these cyber criminals. Less than 3 % of transactions are in person. Of those transactions how far do these criminals travel when committing fraud with YOUR card? How often do they use the same retailer? How close to home do they go? I used this data set from Kaggle Credit Card Fraud (kaggle.com) and using SQL coding I made some very interesting determinations.
